The Only Educational Fair in Palestine
Being the only educational fair in the country, Palestine 4th Educational Exhibition “PEDEX 2008” is considered to be the most efficient way to communicate with students for various educational institutions. This initiative was launched on 2005 by Eastern Mediterranean Educational Services “EMES” the leading students’ recruitment agency in Palestine, with aims to attract both exhibiting educational institutions from around the world, and visiting Palestinian high school & university students.
The four-day event will be promoted through Ads in major newspapers, radio stations and billboard banners. In addition, 10,000 flyers will be distributed at postal boxes, posters and brochures will be distributed on most of high schools in the West Bank, and 1,000 invitations will be mailed to distinguished guests such as: Ministry of Higher Education Officials, Diplomats, Presidents of Universities, Heads of Schools, Academics, Local & International Media and Businessmen. A number of buses will be provided for far-reached cities to guarantee greater benefits.
The Official Opening Ceremony will be launched on 1st April 2008, under the Auspices of H.E. President Mahmoud Abbas, with presence of President Representative, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Media. The exhibition will be concluded on the eve of 4th April, the last day at the Gala Dinner to appreciate the participation and sponsorship of the different institutions and companies, and honor their contribution.
The exhibition Hall, which is only 5 minutes walking distance from city center, is designed to take around 45 booths fully furnished to make exhibitors’ participation as beneficial and comfortable as possible. A standard (9 m²) booth would cost US$2,000. Additional US$500 is added for accommodation & meals for 4 nights at 5-Star Hotel.
The opportunity to benefit from the free services offered at PEDEX to visiting Palestinian students is tremendous and considered the first of its kind nationally. The visiting student could obtain free access to information, directly from the source, among tens of exhibiting institutions, gathered at on place, and offering their counseling services to students for free.
