For the second year in a row, Palestine 2nd Educational Exhibition “PEDEX 2006” was held in spite of security and economical hardship facing the country. More than 2,500 students visited the booths of 28 exhibiting educational providers and institutions representing 9 different countries, during the 3-days event. Institutions representing: Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Cyprus, Turkey, UK, USA, Germany and France were present to introduce, explain and promote their programs & services to visiting Palestinian students.
In addition, “
PEDEX 2006” attracted well-known companies & institutions to sponsor the exhibition and support its activities. The Arab Islamic Bank “AIB” (Gold Sponsor), Palestine Telecommunication Company “Paltel” (Silver sponsor) and MOSECO - Nokia Agent in Palestine (Silver sponsor) were the main investors at “
PEDEX 2006”. Furthermore, Sharek Youth Forum, GTZ- German Development Agency, and PNCECS- Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture & Science, were the main supporters of activities of the event.
